Works right out of the box on Windows 10. Quite incredible, considering video cards with 3 outputs are so expensive. I don't use 3D or play games on this computer. I used this device at work to add a third monitor and I have had pretty good luck with it. There are times when I boot the computer that it doesn't recognize it as USB 3. But all I have to do is reboot the computer and then it works fine. I love the third monitor enough to put up with this quirk. I typically use the 3rd monitor as an extension of the desktop. But I also use it to duplicate one of my other monitors when I have an office visitor that needs to see my screen. Both options have been very helpful. The initial install didn't go so smoothly. First, I had to download the updated driver, which was more difficult to find than install. In fact, I think I found the link in one of the reviews here on Amazon. Then when I rebooted the computer to complete the installation, the computer wouldn't boot. Turns out that my hard drive crashed - I'm pretty sure that was totally unrelated as the system had been struggling for a while. After a fresh hard drive and a reinstall, things are working well with the exception of the one quirk mentioned earlier. I bought a second one to use on my home computer but it turned out that I didn't need it. I would recommend it to others. Had a while, but never liked the quality. Now that I have decided to purchase another one, I thought I would write a review. Because of the resolution, I can't read the screen, so usually don't even use the second monitor. I thought maybe it was just because of the USB. Now I realize it is because of the small print regarding USB 2. Now, it is my responsibility to know this information before ordering, but it is also good to know what I am getting as well. I've used this product on another computer, but I haven't had the chance to try it on my home computer because I can't install the driver. I recently upgraded to Windows 10, but for whatever reason, the computer does not automatically start the driver installation. I tried finding a driver online, including the VicTsing website, but I could not find one. My current computer is 7 years old, so it's likely that I just need to bite the bullet and upgrade my machine. The driver installation was successful; however, since my computer is old, I realized that I do not have a USB 3. I plan to purchase a new computer, and I look forward to using this product with my new machine. I have only used this adapter with USB 3. No latency issues with web browsing, email, or documents. Doesn't work on my Windows 10 Dell Latitude. Worked for one day after I downloaded the FL2000-2. The second day the computer wouldn't see the adapter. I reinstalled the driver and the computer recognized it for about 20 seconds then it turned off again. I connected a USB speaker to a separate USB port and video came to life for about 20 seconds again. I have all USB 3. I don't think the driver is playing nice with the built in USB hub controller. Hoping a new driver will be coming out.
